| Re: What's cheered you up today? Getting my project F3 up to 60mph a couple of times today, and only putting 1/10th of a mile on the trip meter in that span , I would just take it on the main roads instead of my dead end street but the plates are from california and 2 years out of date so I think I'll play it safe. |

So i got to ride my mates old VFR (i think it was the first VFR Honda made the one without the ssa) home yesterday from Scarborough, what a hoot and what a peach of a motor ! 20yrs old and i was well impressed i loved the way the power was delivered real linear and smooth like. | Re: What's cheered you up today? Ragging my CB1000R into work this morning! It had the first service in August and is constantly begging to be abused! The dealer that serviced it scratched the front wheel whilst doing the work, but has since replaced it with a new one. This bike really rocks! What a hoot! http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p...082009158a.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p...2000/cb003.jpg - this was taken the day I got it. The nasty disc holder has gone from the front forks, along with the dealer sticker. |

| Re: What's cheered you up today? Happiness is finding the part that has been effing up your rig for the last week.
And being able to have the Fireblade team help me diagnose it in about 20 minutes of actual work.
That does it for me right there.
Thanks guys,

| Re: What's cheered you up today? took my family on a little road trip 30 or miles out of seattle today and came across a couple guys on brand new ducati 1098s, followed them for a few corners and couldn't stop smiling the whole time, what a great F***ing racket those bikes made echoing for miles down the valley. wish my bike was running but that gave me a good fix if only for a minute.......ahhhhhhh thats good s***! |

| Re: What's cheered you up today? Bike just passed it's MOT good for another year of biking!
It needed a new set of rear pads - poor effort by me on that one, I just couldn't be arsed to check them before the test or replace them when I found out - so I got them done at the shop while I waited. I usually refuse to pay for someone else to do simple jobs & do them myself. |

O well ill be able to start looking for a new bike in a couple off weeks | When is it due to be crushed? Why not spend £300 on Third Party insurance and try and get a cover note? Could none of your mates with traders policy come and claim the bike?

O well ill be able to start looking for a new bike in a couple off weeks | Well it'll be a sorry end to the whole saga, but an end none the less. I'm sorry I have no ideas on how to fight the system... on what grounds did they sieze it, no insurance? I'm not too up to date on when they are allowed to crush vehicles?
Hopefully you'll be able to get yourself back on 2 wheels soon - probably best to keep the 2 wheels on the ground as well eh? (in my case, it's not out of choice.....) |
