Mate i have traders BUT un beknown to me all the insurance companys got together with the police and decided that they wouldnt cover vehicles to be removed from impounds? how they can pick and choose when your insured is unbelievable. Problem im having is bike is due to be crushesd on friday so a cover note wouldnt land on time!

thought you could still get a covernote immediatly from a brokers...
if not ....contest the crushing as believe they cannot do it if its pending a hearing

Found my Homebase receipt as they wernt going to change a large expensive (completely wrong colour) tin of paint without it. Bloody had the name of the store on the tin too wtf

No just the metal ones, it was mixed in the shop, found out they have a policy of mixed paint being non returnable, it was so far removed from the supposed colour you wouldnt believe it.
Anyhoos found the receipt.......haha thats going to piss them off tomorrow

Most places wont accept a return or replacement or refund on mixed paint, the sly feckers!!

Hmm, if the paint mixed is not the colour requested, maybe the sale of goods act applies? i.e. not fit for purpose? They might have something in their terms and conditions to try to weasle their way out, but I'm pretty sure you can't 'contract out' of your legal responsibilities in the UK, unlike some other countries.

I would take the original colour sample with me as well, if it is available.

I'm no legal expert, I just remember an article in a mag about track days covering this sort of thing (contracting out.... not paint!)

I've signed up for it too... Even though I'm terrified of needles... Plus I did the organ donor register as well, I got my card though yesterday

I think thats great! After about 25 pints you get a badge, then I think another at 50 and you also get taken for a meal at some stage (can't remember now...). You also will recieve a card which will tell you how many pints you have given.

You can do what ever one does, although they say to try and take it easy (advise you of not drinking and no strenuous lifting etc.)

They have a thing about doners being under 50kg, so you might want to check with them.

I felt okay after giving blood this time, just a little light headed and nothing more. But last time I was woozy for days! So I guess it does depend on many variables. The second time they wouldn't take my blood because there was too little iron in my blood... go figure

Well about 6 months ago I had to have a blood test and near enough passed out in the doctors. The room span and I almost blacked out.

Even the sight of a needle with my name on it makes me come over a little queer....
