By his own admission, loss of concentration on a corner (looking at the corner instead of through it). It sounds like it wasn't such a bad off either but because of the riding position he is forced to use these days his lower leg took the brunt of the initial impact. The bike is mostly undamaged except for a few scratches and is ready to go when he is (that's right he has no intention of quitting). Because of his previous injury's ie no use of his right arm he is unable to use crutches and if you we're to put him in a wheel chair he would only be able to propel himself in circles, i know he finds this the most frustrating thing as he is very active or was anyway ! On the plus side he'll recover in a couple of month's this time and not a couple of years like last time

I bet the Ambo's or the first people to get to Davey were wondering WTF when they saw his arm (or could'nt see his arm

Or whoever picked up his bike, something like " Wow, he's ripped a handlebar off )

We all had a laugh about that, the look on there faces as they cut his leathers of must have been priceless ! Knowing Dave he'd have been like don't worry about that it's just an old scar (and his bad leg is hidiously scarred and dammaged)
