| Re: What's cheered you up today? Got to watch some stuff that I recorded on TV recently, one of the shows is from Discovery Turbo, of their edit of "Twist The Throttle". About 24 minutes into the 1/2 hour program, there's a brief footage of some Japanese guys on R1s in the production line.
If anyone's seen that - Not the ones on You Tube - those are a different edit and I could not find that factory shot... anyway, if anyone's seen how the Japanese factories stop the bikes, you'll have to laugh:
As the bike is built and is increasingly rideable, the workes ride them following a path on the factory floor, going from station to station for more work to be done.
There are huge "kerbs" that are build on either side of the path on the floor at the stations. The "kerbs" are concrete blocks, about 3x the height of a normal kerb - so the worker can reach solid ground and have the bike remaining upright as he works on it (whilst sitting on it) before he rides to the next station.
Huge concrete blocks. Hehehehehehee.

She said even though she is pregnant and can't ride, there is no reason for us both to suffer and literally forced my gear on and me out the garage door.... Hit Boquet back around to Sand, then Lil Tijunga, then back home.... AHHHHHHHHH Love it.... Best wife ever.... |

I can't say I always have such glowing reports to share when it comes to customers services here. Quote:

I was on annual leave last week, but much of the time I had this wretched flu and have been off-sick for 2 days this week. And the weather has been "less than clement" so whilst bike sits all alone in the garage, I was blowing my nose and sneezing my lungs out.
As I got into work today, I saw the piles of work on my desk... but you know what? I could still see bits of the wooden surface of my desk!! LOL, it could have been a whole lot worse.
