HELP!! 99 900rr need hose diagram

I had the carbs cleaned and now it runs like ****, the mechanic didn't put some of the vac hoses back where they were, like one that hangs down on the right from the bottom of the carb, and when i plug it, the idle changes. Does anyone know where that hose goes? Does anyone know where i can get a hose routing diagram besides the backwards one on top of the airbox? Please help, my bike ran fine before this hose problem. thanks

Take it back and have the mechanic fix it.
All the hose, cable and wiring routing diagrams are in the OEM workshop manual.
I can't think of any vacuum lines from the bottom of the carbs. Vacuum comes from the intake manifolds.

Re: HELP!! 99 900rr need hose diagram

Ok, well the hose is pulling air, so where does it go? And is there anywhere on the web i can pull up a diagram, picture, something? The only book I have is the owners manual, and I dont want to take my bike back to the shop just cuz of 1 or 2 hoses.

The manual is definately online so just Google or Torrent it.

It either goes to the airbox, or the fuel tank petcock.

Helping yourself is awesome too :-)

Google or Torrent the manual if you don't want to buy it.

I just had a look and can't see the hoses you mention.
Maybe it's a Cali model and had the junk removed?

I don't understand why you would be so dead set against getting a manual for your bike.
Are you going to tell us what it was and how you fixed it?

Must be the PAIR valve then?
Which makes it a Cali model I think.
