Your buddy is lying to you.

There are computer generated images of a rumored V5, 1200cc Blackbird/VFR, and there are several other threads that talk about that...

V5 Blackbird...

So many rumors going around and it is still summer! I can hardly wait to see what rumors and concepts will pop up during winter.

I'm back. The supposedly picture is in fact a prototype drawing but it still is gorgeous . The caption mentions the CBX1600XX V-six 520lbs. 200HP 340km/h (approx 205mph)

you can see it at http://map.free.fr/prototyp.htm

You'll se images of the 50 unit limited production V&M Racing Honda CBR 1200 XX created for Honda UK for the 50th anniversary.

You'll also see the V-six prototype of the CBX1600XX If it ever becones available, I'll be the first one to place my order

As for the CBX 25 years ago which became the first 100HP bike, this one would become the first 200HP bike. Sounds good to me.

Who cares? It still won't be as fast as the "Extreme CBR1100XX" that came out in 2002.

It still won't beat an '02 XX with a full Two Bros system and no PowerCommander...

Another misconception I don't understand, people call Blackbirds Sport Tourers, all sport tourers have a ST designation, Blackbirds are CBR's and were always listed on the Honda website under sport bikes at the top of the list minor technicality I reckon. Busas and ZX12s are listed on their sites as sport bikes, Poor Ole Blackbird don't get no respect , and now gone forever. Honda won't call the next hot rod a Blackbird, it's gonna be a CBR????XX Fireblade.
