Honda Blackbird 1100XX/rear swing arm

Hello Group,

New to the group, thanks.

I am in need of a wide rear swing arm for a 1997 Honda 1100XX Blackbird. Extended also might be an option. Finish not important. Also looking for after market tail light and tag assemblies that remove the extended turn signals. Also looking for a rear seat cowl besides the one made by Corbin.

Any help or directions to links would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Honda Blackbird 1100XX/rear swing arm

Never heard of a wide swing arm except for POSEzukis.
I don't think anyone made a aftermarket brake light for the XX except Clear Alternatives.
Perhaps Pyramid made the seat cowl. Check eBay on that one.

Welcome, Ben

Make sure the swingarm doesn't get in the way of the ultimate XX mod... of course, I'm talking about the vaunted 2Bros system...

Re: Honda Blackbird 1100XX/rear swing arm

Pyramid makes a seat cowl so does Powerbronze. The Powerbronze is cheaper but it also looks really freakin' cheap I have one on my 97'xx now and when cabin fever hits this winter i will be smoothing it out and deleting the pad. The Pyramid is pretty hot looking. I bought the powerbronze before seeing the pyramid because like you i was happy to just find a cowl.

Re: Honda Blackbird 1100XX/rear swing arm

There are a few out there that are really good lookin as far as extended swing arms, I know that there is one that can extend and widen.

extended swingarm

That should be the place to talk to about the extending, and the widening. But I think they will only go out to 240.

As far as the Undertail, I have only found one that looks good enough to put on a bird without looking like you just attached a chunk of plastic.

UnderTails, Under Tails, Color Matched, GP, Integrated turnsignals

That should cover the Undertail. If there is anything else you are looking for just let me know. I know it is tough trying to find things for the XX, but just so that you can finish the look a place to get a Pyramid rear seat cowl and grab rail inserts is here is a good place.
