4000RPM at 70 stock on a '00 1100XX?????

I have had a 2000 "bird" for 5 yrs but the guy I bought it from put PM wheels on it and Two Bros exhaust,Corbin seat and a Chrome rear sproket and some susp mods in front. Now I wonder if he changed the front sprocket because I read a review of some guy going 3000 at 65mph. I have counted the rear and it is the same as the stock one(I have the old wheels) What are you guys turning??

Yep, sounds right. Mine is right around 4000RPM at 70mph in 6th gear.

What's a good taller windscreen for a touring bird??

Looking for better protection when traveling what is the best and where should I get one? I have a "flip" one now and it's no better than stock. Thanks

I've got the Givi windscreen. Had one on my '02 XX as well. Makes a good bit of difference. With the stock screen the wind hits around the middle of my face shield, with the Givi it's right at the top of my helmet. (Depends on your height and riding position of course.)

There's only one Givi screen for the XX, so if it says it's for the XX, that's gotta be it.

$96 here:
http://www.cyclesaddles.com/home/Acc...indscreens.htm (This is where I get all my Givi stuff.)
