Slipper Clutch for '98 CBR1100XX

I have been looking high and low, and cant seem to find one anywhere. Does anyone know...

1) If one is available
2) If another model will work (say for a '98 CBR900RR)

Thanks for the help..!

Why in the world would you want one for a drag bike?

Are you sure you don't want a lock-up clutch?

A slipper helps with down shifts for road racing, I can think of no reason to put one on a drag bike.

A lock-up clutch has special weighted paddles that increase plate pressure at higher RPM's, any place that sells turbos for bikes should be able to tell you where to find one.

I am also looking for a slipper clutch and am sick and tired of being told I dont need one but I am allways getting rear wheel lockups because of the gear ratios and the fact that the 1st gear is so long which means that to keep the revs up on roundabouts I am downshifting to 1st gear which results in lock ups.

I'm certainly not going to tell you that you don't need one but I'm not sure a slipper will fix the problem you describe. Maybe stay in second gear. The Bird pulls very smoothly from low revs in second as I recall. If you need first, maybe blipping the throttle while downshifting into first will help. As the others have said, a slipper is used on a track at high engine speeds while downshifting into corners allowing the rider to not worry about matching engine speeds and rear wheel lock up.
