| Re: why XX and not Busa or ZX12R?? Are you talking about the 2008 busa? If so I would recommend the busa.. Its been redesigned for 08 into quite a awsome overall package.. 2008 Suzuki Hayabusa - First Ride - MotorcycleUSA.com Attachment 27263Attachment 27261

| Re: why XX and not Busa or ZX12R?? I honestly don't have enough first hand experience with any of them to make an informed statement. For every bit of information I get by asking on a site like this I do three of four times more research on my own doing things like looking for independent reviews, visiting each dealer, etc. In the end for a purchase like this I go with my gut and my heart. My bike is a toy that also sometimes gets used for commuting. I didn't buy it for practical purposes so it doesn't necessarily have to "make sense." I was very picky and picked a bike that I thought looked great and matched the level of perfomance that I wanted. I definitely have a strong preference for Honda and have always owned Honda's but if the right dream bike came along I might go a different direction. In the end do what feels good to you and get what you want. |

| Re: why XX and not Busa or ZX12R?? If I was you, I would look for something a little different. The XX is a bike you never see. I live in the south, and every jackass has a streched busa and zx14. It may not be as fast but in that group you are supersonic any way. |

| Re: why XX and not Busa or ZX12R?? try and grab a demo ride on them all. That is the only way to know what you want. check online reviews, and talk to 3 different owner while they are standing together if you can to get their point of view. Keep in mind, busa owners think they're the **** 9 out of 10. ZX12 has always been faster than the busa, so is the 14. XX has always been slower, but still a blast, more comfy, and its a honda. That is build quality and longevity. I have ridden all of them and personally am a sucker for the zx12 (taller and my personal choice). |

Tank bag and tail luggage and you have a long range tour bike. |

| Re: why XX and not Busa or ZX12R?? Ive ridden all 3. I like the ZX12 the best even though I am not a Kaw fan.
The blackbird was not very impresive power wise. It was comfortable but it ended there.
THe ZX12 was quick powerful and felt more like a sportbike then the other 2. |

| Re: why XX and not Busa or ZX12R?? Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I always thought the 'Busa was supposed to be the fastest standard production bike allowed on the road.
If the zx12 and 14 topped it, how come there wasn't a song and dance about it? |

| Re: why XX and not Busa or ZX12R?? that being said i'd put the blackbird last. all anybody has really said that's better about it is that it's a little more rare to see than the other ones. and that it may be the most comfortable of the land missile bikes.but the other ones out perform it. and they are ALL more comfortable than most 600-1100 sportbikes |

| Re: why XX and not Busa or ZX12R?? nah. there's plenty of market for the big bikes out there too. theyre stable as a rock. more comfortable than our tight handling bikes. and people misconcieve how well these big bikes handle. they only suck after you stretch or lower them. yes they are a little heavy but well engineered and still somewhat intended for canyon carving. if i ever get rid of my 54 it will probably be for one of these open classers |

Certainly can't afford either, even if I thought I would do anything more than just pussy-foot around on one. They actually scare me a little, but then I've only been riding a 400rr for just over a year and a half. |
