Electrics Question

Is there a master circuit breaker or master fuse or fuseable link that when tripped it would shut down all power? Had a problem with 2000 BB: turnsignal relay began to click rapidly, but everything was working OK. Then shut it down and in a few minutes turned the key and EVERYTHING is dead. Assumed the battery was gone. Put new battery in, fully charged, and same result, absolutely nothing works. Fuses all check out OK. Just wondering where to look next.
thanks

Re: Electrics Question

Honda's in general and the XX too have regulator/rectifier problems. It's the part with fins mounted on the left side of the subframe. I bet your problems starts there and may also include the alternator on the left side of the engine. Go to cbr1100xx.org and search for rectifier problems.

Yes, there is.

Follow the positive lead from the battery towards the starter solenoid. Tip: it's inside a rubber holder on the left side of the battery case. There's a red cap which has the master 30 amp fuse. That's most likely what's blown.

Re: Electrics Question

Thanks, that was easy enough. Now, to figure why it blew.
