questions about my cbr ???

hello out there ! i just bought a 1993 cbr f2 for 500 dollars , its awsome i got such a good deal . runs great , it was just laid down so there isnt any fairings , stuff like that . im rebuilding the bike and a friend of mine has a 2009 kawasaki 636 front fairing with the lights , prob worth about 500 thats hes willing to give me for 250 , my question is is that possible to just rebuild with different parts its a really good deal ???/

no, you will have way too many problems trying to line things up. shop around and get the right parts or youll be sorry down the line.

IMO its going to take a lot of pain staking hours and money to fabricate a fairing stay/brackets etc to allow for you to align the fairing/headlamp up.

Would be easier to either source original parts and mean while convert it to a street fighter until you get all of the parts. Search eBay and such like, buy the odd panel and make up a set. Get them sprayed and whack them on.

...or you could always opt for the street fighter route.
