| Damper mounting ?'s on an F2 Anybody got some pics of a damper mounted on their F2/F3? Picked one up the other day and it seems way to long to fit. The adjustment knob is all the way under the instrument panel and the cartridge keeps the fairings from getting close to looking like they are suppose to. Any help's appreciated. |

| Re: Damper mounting ?'s on an F2 I had one on my F2, the end of the damper was way up by the front right fairing and the other end was all the way to the left. |

| Re: Damper mounting ?'s on an F2 Is the damper a side mount or top mount? From your description of the stuff that's in the way...it sounds like side mount, is that right? I've got a top mount hyperpro damper on my bike...I'll take a pic and post it if you want to see how it is mounted. It's this lovely gay purple colour...[gaylisp] you'll just die when you see it, it's absolutely fabulous[/gaylisp].

| Re: Damper mounting ?'s on an F2 It's neither. It's a front mount. The body mounted to a bracket that bolts to the dash bracket holes via a heim joint. One end of the rod mounts to the left fork leg with a clamp and the other end pointed right at the corner of the upper right fairing. Here is a pic not on the bike but it's still all together the way it should be installed. |

| Re: Damper mounting ?'s on an F2 Whoa, wierd...I've never seen that before on this bike. Don't know too much about these stupid Hondas as it is...I told myself I'd never buy another Honda! I'm still having some trouble imagining what it would look like after it's actually mounted?
****, that thing looks so industrial...it looks like it should be closing a big metal door in a factory somewhere. |

| Re: Damper mounting ?'s on an F2 What it will look like is nothing. It's not visible unless you look down at it. No bling/poser factor on this one. |

| Re: Damper mounting ?'s on an F2 Look at the pic above, the flat bracket on the front of the steering head and the fork clamp on the fork. Now close your eyes................ |
