| Re: I had dreams abou this bike last night. I looked one over at the dealership yesterday when I was there to have my new rubber mounted. That's about as gorgeous a blue as I've ever seen on a motorcycle. |

Originally Posted by ND4SPD Nope, offered him a test ride on mine so he can see what it's like | I'll probably take you up on it. I'm just afraid. I'm having trouble justifying buying a brand new bike. I still owe a good chunck on my bike, and the 600rr would cost more than the 954 is worth (which sucks BTW).
I'm in a position right now, where the 954 is pretty much set up. The only thing I could see doing to it is rearsets and suspension, but don't plan to do that for a long time.
If I got the 600, I would'nt do anything accept different turnsignals and the mud flap removal. Maybe a double bubble. Exhaust would be a long way away. Same w/ rear sets. I don't know.
If I got 7000 for the 954, that is 600 over what I owe. So that is 600 towards the new bike which would be (if I was good) 7999 otd. That is
7999
-600
-----
7399
about $1000 more than I am in debt right now. I'm trying to get out of debt. Not further in. The other option is to buy a used one in all black. Might get some mods, and actually come out less in debt. I saw one for 5700 ish on cycletrader.
HD
PS - But DAMN that blue is sharp! I think if I can't have the blue I'll just keep the 954. I know. I'm a squid. I have a motto for things that you can never be REALLY good at: "It's not how good you are, it's how good you look doin' it."

| Re: I had dreams abou this bike last night. Speaking of bike dreams, I had a dream last night about my MSF course that I'm signed up for tomorrow! Hilarious. There was a lady doing the classroom portion of it and she was talking gibberish and I was getting so frustrated! Do you think this translates to some of my fears about being a new bike owner? Haha! |

It's time for a few (more) speeding tickets to jack up the rate. Maybe you can use it to your advantage and get your significant other to agree that its time to switch to a lower cc bike. |
