According to Soup the new '05 is to weigh considerably less with USD forks, radial mount calipers, new swingarm assembly, and a host of other upgrades to reduce weight. Maybe Big Red finally did listen to it's critics...

Actually underseat was a selling point for me on my 1KRR. Not for fashion, but for elimination of clearance issues when using saddlebags. I also considered an F4i but the can bothered me while the slightly more upright was a plus. Of course then there was the raw power of a full liter

Lost 9lbs

I still question the fuel capacity/mileage however. I've gone 170mi on 4 gallons with the reserve light being on for the last ~30 or so. With another .8 gallons I should be able to do an additional 20-30mi which would mean that it's possible to get 200mi out of a tank of gas. Does that seem hokey to anyone?

Yeah thats hokey you friggin light weight!

I get about 110-120 tops.
