Anywhoo, reason I want to trade/swap or possibly buy a 600RR is that I believe I'm using the power of the 954 as a crutch. Rather than really learning how to ride correctly (gear selection, entrance speed, etc...) on a 600cc first, I quickly made the the jump to a liter bike. So since I've discovered the track and plan on doing a whole more bunch of track days, I figure I might as well learn how to ride a bike correctly via a 600 rather than relying on the power of a liter bike like a crutch. This is just my opinion of course and of course it can be argued that one can still learn how to ride correctly on a liter bike. But that's just the way I feel about my riding and my riding skills at this point in time. |

that sounds like a very intelligent choice to me. I went from an 86 ninja600r to my 929 and I know my riding just got so much better once I switched, I noticed like a day or 2 after I got it that I could ride so much better but I think if I did a track day (which I would love to do) then I think I'd rather have something like a 600rr because it has some good power and handles great unlike my old ninja which was a nice bike to learn on (took a beating too asked for more) but just doesn't do anything all that great unlike the 929. I've rode that ninja since getting the 929 and I don't know how I rode that thing, I didn't ride it far but it just had nothing, seemed like I was revving the piss out of in every gear to get it to move. I guess my final thought is that I think you'd be fine with the 954 if you just give it a little time (on the track and off) but the 600rr might let you develop your skills faster.

So far I'm very happy with my decision to do so. |

Are you Vietnamese?
I don't think we should be using Vietnamese on this forum b/c we might alienate or get some other members furious.
Maybe we should ask Conq to create a Vietnamese forum section.

Too funny. I lived in Houston, TX for a little over 4 years. Of course I've heard of Kim Son Restaurant. If your Asian, live in Houston, TX and haven't heard of Kim Son then you must be living under a rock. I believe while I was there, that it was one of the most popular restaurants to eat at. I'm pretty sure it still is a very popular restaurant.
Too Funny! |

I must say, your sister-in-law has done VERY well for herself; Kim Son is a "household word" around here. |

All this talk of Kim Son yesterday morning had me craving it, so that's what I did for lunch.

| Re: Trade a 2002 954 for a 600RR Not sure what is above it (above it would be street level). It's in a food court that's all-in-one. You walk in, and have your choice of 5-6 different restaurants, Kim Son being one of them. They give you a card when you walk in, and whatever restaurant you choose logs your price into the card. When you're done eating, you pay on your way out (clerk scans your card). |
