| Re: 2004 600cc Shootout from MCN It's all way too confusing to choose a 600 class bike. Apparently each has it's pro's and con's and just about every professional reviewer ends up with a different overall winner in this class. The Honda is smooth but heavy....The Kaw has excellent brakes but suspension lacks...The Suz brake's tend to...the Yamaha is falling back in the grunt dept...
They're all sooooo damn closely rated. |

A coffee table quality magazine, huge content every month, fantastic glossy photographs, indepth reviews, irreverant Brit humor (or is it "humour"?), the best moto-journalism in the biz, it's the best of the bunch IMO (and I've read them all).
Yeah, it's the dog's danglies alright!

I don't think a guy could bring home any one of these new middleweights and fail to have a hoot in just about every riding situation. The fact they're all so close makes it easier, not harder, to pick one. Find the bike that looks cool to you, pick a color, sign on the dotted line, and ride the wheels off it.

You'd pay eight or nine bucks a copy if you bought these Euro rags off the shelf at the bookstore. |

I paid $24 for 3 years of motorcyclist, I'll gladly pay $50+ for one year of Bike or T.W.O... If you like to look at pics, the american mags are fine, like good journalizm (no, thats not a word) and objective reviews, pick up a copy of BIKE... |

But I do find it a bit shocking that Chain pays $60 bones for "StreetFighters"...

You still running w/o sliders willi (ref. your sig line)? Do you have to cut to put them on? The Satos I got from Dan Kyle don't require cutting on my 636, otherwise I probably wouldn't be running sliders. |

And no way would I cut on your Gixxer, Dee. I just feel like you cannot go wrong no matter what Japanese sportbike a fella chooses. That GSX-R is a sweet ride. |

Due to the coverage of the plastic, you gotta drill on the Baby Blade... The Moriwaki's come with a template. As soon as I get a disposable $100, they are mine! |

| Re: 2004 600cc Shootout from MCN Very cool...most of the bike mags "over there" tend to focus on the balls out riding we all want to do! Marketing stays out of the picture...$58 seems cheap to me..most are near $100! |
