F3 1/4 turn throttle on an F4?

I'm fixing up my race bike after my crash and need to replace the throttle tube etc... Will the 1/4 turn throttle kit for an f2/f3 from LP work for an F4?

The only reason it wouldn't is if the cable ends are different (which I doubt). Even then, you'd just need to change a cable or two.

Re: F3 1/4 turn throttle on an F4?

Farkkkk....LP has discontinued it....

Any ideas where else I can get a kit for the F4? The throttle tube broke on it in my crash. Ordered the stock tube without thinking and it doesn't fit due to the slide (where the cable attaches to the tube ) being too wide for the throttle bracket (obviously not stock). So either I have to purchase a stock F4 throttle tube and bracket/kill switch or I put a kit on.

Also...anyone know where I can pick up a muffler bracket (not the strap) that eliminates the rear passenger peg? My aluminum one is no more....LP is discontinued...farkkkkk

Not sure what was damaged in your crash but I used a 2001 R1 throttle grip on my 01 F4i (virtually the same bike as yours) and had no issues fitting it except for a little dremel requirements on the inside of the kill switch housing.

also, I have an aluminum muffler bracket sitting around collecting dust, e-mail me for more information if you're interested, not trying to bend the rules of non-paying members, just offering assistance to a fellow board member.

sorry if that's still against rules...

The throttle tube was damaged....trouble is is that it's not the stock F4 one...the stock F4 throttle tube won't fit into the throttle bracket. I'll drop you a pm on the bracket.
