flashing "FI" light???

flashing "FI" light???

2001 Honda f4i...Anyone ever had to deal with a flashing FI light. Everything was fine til' I installed a k&n air filter! I checked everything before I put the tank back on...but it will flash 9 times then blank for a few seconds, then flashes 9 times again! Please help anybody...........thanks

Could there be some sensor for air valve or something related air filter, can you try to remove it and double check that you have put everything back...

If this doesn't work contact local service, amount of flashes might give yoou some errrorcode


Hopefully you can fix it!

It's an error code. Find someone with the factory manual so you can look up what the fault is.

loose or poor contact on IAT sensor
Open or short circuit on IAT sensor wire
faulty IAT sensor

engine functions normally simulates 25/77degres

Fixed it!!! That's what the prob. was! The sensor wasn't fully snapped in on top of the airbox! Glad that's all it was... Thanks again guys...
