Talked with J Tiggert (Last years AFM #1 plate and works for Honda R&D) and he said the 05 is all around a much better bike. He seemed pretty amped about it. Needless to say his 04 is up for sale.

Hard to imagine how much better it can be. Hopefully I can find a front end off of a looped one next winter and find out at least partially

Tiggert said everywhere they could take weight off they did. He also said it feels like it has 4-5 more hp in the midrange.....he seemed very excited about it.

All they have to do is put a full Ti exhaust on it and it'll easily lose 10lbs

here's another review I stumbled across on 600RR.net via CBRworld.net...me thinks it's a good read...

from what I can ascertain so far, looks '05 is gonna be a showdown between the new BabyBlade and the new Kawi 6R.....but time will tell....
