F2 wheel in F3 fork?

Hi guys,
Can this be done? I want to put a F2 front wheel with mechanical speedo in a F3 fork. If it can be done, what about rotors/discs? Can I keep F2 ones (can I even fit F3 rotors on F2 wheel?)

Thanks

Studen

*if* it is going to work, you will have to swap out the rotors -- they are totally different sizes. I'd be looking in to bolt pattern and axle width. If those things match, then you might be in business.

Re: F2 wheel in F3 fork?

Best way to do it is to get the F2 forks as well. The bottom of the F2 fork has the index tab for the speedo drive. Also the speedo drive IS the left side spacer on the F2. I dont think the caliper lugs are in the same place on the fork either because the F3s brakes are larger too. It's not easy unless you have AL the parts, then its easy but the F3 speedo is electronic, isnt it? You would need an F2 dash or an afetrmarket mechanical speedo....the list goes on and on........
