Re: battery disconnect???

I wouldn't bother for just a couple of weeks. I only disconnect mine and bring it in during the 3-4 months I can ride due to that thing called Winter.

Re: battery disconnect???

Just put a battery tender on it. That's all I do, even for winter; that way I don't have to reset the clock

Do you disconnect the battery then put the battery tender on? I heard that putting the battery tender on without disconnecting the battery could be harmful to your electrical system. I find this a bit hard to believe, but I have no proof to prove this false or true.

I left my tender on all winter last yr while it was still connected to my bike and nothing happened to anything

Re: battery disconnect???

No, I just plug the tender into the pigtails and let it do its thing. Going on my 3rd winter with this method with no problems.
