| 190 rear I'm looking at a set of rain slicks, but the rear is a 190. Would it fit alright? | |

| Re: 190 rear For me, if it's raining or wet at a track day I don't ride until things dry out. I have ridden on the track during a monsoon and it just wasn't worth it (or fun). It's not worth a slip 'n fall just to get more track time in. Now if you're racing, than you don't have any choice... |

| Re: 190 rear Riding on rains in teh wet is great fun and good practice. You can go really fast, brake really hard and corner aggressively.......... you just can't do any tof these things at the same time. I think RRW had a good pc recently about rain riding. Remember that rains are extremely soft compound and they NEED a wet (not damp) surface to keep them cool. We carry rains but your best (and least $$$) bet is to find a racer getting out of racing or switching brands. A good condition set of rains should be around $200 - $250. New they are $375 - $400 Standard superbike rains are designed to fit 600 - 1000 machines.5.5" and 6" rears. Last edited by Mille Man : 02-14-2005 at 9:26 AM. |

| Re: 190 rear my dunlop rain rear is a 190/65....65 or 60 not sure. Not as round as a 180 or 190 slick...since your using less lean angle. Personally I hated the feel of them...felt like riding knobby tires on the street. If it's not raining and just wet I stick w/ DOTs. |
