| New used 600RR Just wanted to say hi, got my 03 600RR to replace my 929 (RIP). You guys wanna hear the story of how this happened?
Ok here it goes.
I got sent off to go to Iraq and I decided I'll leave it at my friends house since he has a nice garage. Well I went ahead and did it, put stabil, a oil change and put it on stands. Then I had this great idea to take it off my insurance since its not gonna go anywhere. Wouldnt you know it, someone came over to my buddies house and ask to ride it. He took it out with expired tabs and wheelies it on the freeway. Loops the bike and the bike is now dead.
Thanks for listening, but I will move on with my new 600RR
Mark
pics will come soon. |

| Re: New used 600RR SOB should pay you for the 929 and you get to keep the damaged ride for your troubles.
Also let me guess how much gear a fool that would wheelie a strangers bike had on.
Glad you are back in one piece, sorry you had to come back to that, and enjoy the RR

| Re: New used 600RR I am thinking there would be two people in the hospital right now.... And when they got out of the hospital they would be coming up with a way to come up with another 929 or find themselves having a judge tell them they are going pay for it. Then maybe beat the hell out of them again. |

Welcome back, and I hope you'll be duly compensated by your "friend" and/or his friend.

| Re: New used 600RR ah, man, that sucks. I guess in the greater scheme of things, it's just a bike. I mean, after being over in Iraq, and surviving in one piece, what's 8-9K right? I don't say that with ANY malice/sarcasm. I truly mean that.
Anyway, the 600RR is a sweet bike, and I'm sure you're gonna love it. Still, drop by now and again to keep us up to date as to how much you're enjoying her. |
