I got a question a friend of mine has a 01 f4i and the fuel pump doesn't come on. I ran power to the pump and it works so I know the pump is good, so I thought it might be the relay. I took relay off and jumped the connectors on the harness and the pump runs. Hooray I thought for sure the relay was bad, but I tested the relay like they said in the manual and it tests out ok. So I tried a known good relay off of a running bike and still doesn't work, I put old relay on the other bike and it works. I tested continuity on all the wires and its all ok. So I'm thinking maybe the ECU is bad. I'm I right in assuming this or maybe someone can point me in another direction. Any help would be appreciated. I want to get this bike out of my garage.
