Re: 600RR tail instal??

if it is anything like the thousand, it is a pain in the ass...you need to try and put it on at a bit of an angle and then "slide" the other side over while spreading it out to try and clear the exhaust/subframe. It is a very unnerving thing to do the first couple of times as it feels like it is going to snap into a million pieces, but once you get the hang of it, you should be alright, hope that helps

Re: 600RR tail instal??

Just like Northern RR said. It takes a couple times of removing and re-installing to get the hang of it and the plastic's stiffness will lossen up, which will help.

I thought I was either going to ruin the paint or break mine the first time I took it off as well. Had to put it down and walk away a couple times cause I started to get angry when I had to flex it so much to get it back on.

Sounds just like me, the first two or three attempts.

Re: 600RR tail instal??

Try streaching a fiberglass one on it, you got to damn near break it to make it fit.
