Good question.. What would be the reason for the switch? Is it the radial-mounted brakes you are after?

well excuse me. I thought he used the whole front end for the brakes when he said front brake set up. I didn't look hard enough at the picture to see its not a radial caliper.

Re: Cbr1000rr front end on a f4i ?

I am thinking that it might bolt right up to the bike since the forks are the same size. I know you will need the 1000's triples and most likly the front wheel.. This sounds like it could be a good change to the F4i.. My 01 has 18k on her and the front end is hurting with my fat body on it. I am starting to hit bottom on hard braking and I am getting a little front wheel hope.
