04 600RR Prices
Anybody been shopping for 600RR's lately? What are the left over 04's going for? My little brother is in the market. He found a 04 with 22 miles at a nearby dealer. I looked around on cycle trader and noticed most the 04's going for around $7500. That sound about right? I saw Mr Rua got $7000 for his used.

Those are some pretty sweet prices. A CRF50F for $683. My son would like that (I think I'd enjoy it too.)

Out here in CA 04s are going anywhere from 6-7.5k..that's used.

Wow, $7500 for a used 600RR is a bit pricey. I suppose the standard of living is a bit higher out on the West coast?

So this may be a dumb question but are bikes set up differently in California? You know how cars have different emission standards... I seem to recall hearing that there is a difference between bikes sold in California and their counterparts sold in the other States.

Yes, California bikes have a bit more emission equipment on them.

Kinda....as you can't buy out of state and bring it in with less then 7500 miles on the clock, so dealers here can charge a bit more. Best price on new 05s otd (including tax, tags, etc) I've seen is 8999

Oh, BTW...THE HONDA 600RR ROCKS!!!!



Delivered the bike to the buyer. It was a 2 hour ride. That bike rocks!!!! Deceptively fast, transmission was awesome and handled like it was on rails!!!!
