starts but wont stay on

Hello, signed up a few months back but been lurking, but anyways went for a morning ride and layed the bike down on a right hander propably around 35-40 mph, just cosmetic damage few scratches. It will start but wont stay on. kept the choke on so it wont die on me at the intersections but once the choke is off the bike dies.

havent had time to take a look at it yet, got home went straight to work, just looking into some insight as what it could be or if anyone else had this problem. So I can get a head start in trouble shooting.

by the way its a 95 CBR 600 f3

any help will be appreciated.
thanks in advance

Re: starts but wont stay on

I'll take a stab at it: Something similar happened on my 96 Kawasaki EX 500R. I believe there's a switch (mercury?) that senses when the bikes gotten horizontal and cuts off the full supply as a safety. On my Kawasaki, the way to "reset" the fuel cut off was to switch off the bike which I did and then it ran as normal. Check your manual to see if there's a different mechanism to "reset" the fuel cut off or after having switched you ignition off then on again, you may find, as I did, that all's well again.
