heres my questions:
in the details section it states this:
2) Lighter and stronger aluminum sprockets put the emphasis on ACCELERATION while maintaining the OEM suggested replacement intervals. Furthermore the Honda Gauge cluster is about 8-10% high from the factory settings. One more benefit of the kit we sell is that it actually makes the speedometer only 2% high as opposed to 8-10% too high.
I have read several times on here that the speedo is even further off after this combo whos right?
also they state this:
OPTIMUM ACCLERATION. By using the OPTIMUM gearing ratio you essentially lower the final drive ratio the exact percentage that the bike will "top out" in 6th gear due to wind resistance and horsepower restrictions. With the stock gearing your bike has a top speed of about 175 (for example) But it's not at redline. With this setup the top speed is STILL 175 and it IS at redline (meaning that all of the horsepower is being used to move the bike forward, and it's not being wasted on friction or fighting the motor itself because of the poor factory gearing. You can go just as fast, but you get there MUCH FASTER.
