| Re: 05 600RR Arata slip on Only 102hp stock? I thought they were supposed to be closer to 110hp Was it broken in yet? If so, how did they break it in? |

| Re: 05 600RR Arata slip on Dunno why people get stuck on "they're supposed to be XYZh.p" all the time. The dyno down the road from me from experience would say the exact same bike had 110h.p, yet it would still make exactly the same h.p as when it left here. Get what I'm saying? The number means JACK ****. It's the gains that you want to be looking at. a 5h.p gain from 102-107 or 110-115 is still a 5h.p gain. Not havin ago at you ND4SPD, just saying.
Luvtolean, I've only mapped an 04 model stock, for australian motorcycle news magazine. Why do you ask?
BTW, anyone putting a slip on pipe on their 05600RR and wants it custom mapped? You need to either bung the header in front of the Cat in the lead pipe, or do what we did, and cut the Cat out otherwise the mapping will be way out. Just so you know. |

| Re: 05 600RR Arata slip on Nobody does it, but I'm curious what mapping one gets with the stock can/motor. So, what'd ya get on the '04?
Yeah, never thought about it but the cat would totally FU the A/F. |

| Re: 05 600RR Arata slip on It did. lol. didn't even think about it until I started mapping it and saw rediculous numbers being added to the map. Took it out for a ride and WRONG. haha Didn't know our's had Cats, but yep, they do. Ripped it out, remapped it and it's a rocket.
The 04 , I can't remember the "numbers" but it gained 2 or 3h.p, and they reported in the mag that it was much smoother everywhere, made more power from lower in the rpm, same deal as with a pipe really. |
