WooHoo!!!

I just ran out to ForwardAir and now have my future track bike in the back of my van. The subframe looks a little more beat up than I thought, but other than that it looks good so far. As long as the subframe holds the driver's seat in the correct position, I'm good as the rest won't matter soon enough.
Just wanted to share with the class.
ForwardAir's container service is awesome. It cost $60 dollars more to use that rather than find or build a crate, but it is literally just roll it in, tie it down to one of the many D-rings in the floor, then roll it out at the destination. I just took the padlocks off, released the tiedowns and rolled it directly from the container into the back of the van. Very slick.
I'll get it unloaded in a couple hours and start taking it apart this weekend. Pics will follow when I feel like taking them.

Re: WooHoo!!!

Yeah, the rear will be for sale for sure. I thought about keeping them for spares or rains, but seeing as I don't really plan on chasing points any longer I don't see myself doing the push it in the rain thing again.
Like LTL said, the front is dented. So no, I won't sell it to you. I might have it straightened and sell it over on stuntlife, though.

From what I have gathered they are the same size, just a different color.
When I figure out a price, I'll let you know.

Let me know. Yea...the search I did shows the wheels will work, just not sure on axel and spacer (but that's not a big issue).

Re: WooHoo!!!

The FA crates are pretty slick although putting a bike in one is a bit more of a hassle than taking them out.

I have an 03-04 rear with rotor and sprocket as a spare for my 05 and it is a straight swap using my 05 axle and spacers.

PS: Congrats, BDA

Seriously, very glad you have a bike to ride at what seems like a tremendous facility at Miller.
