| Re: Fork height Not sure what model year you have, but the '05 has a groove in the upper fork leg that is fitted with a sort of spring clip just below the clip-ons. I run aftermarket clip-ons and had to remove the clip so that is no longer valid. For your reference, with Dunlop 208 I run 5mm of fork leg (not including the cap) above the tripple. I have Traxxion 95 springs too. Hope that helps. |

| Re: Fork height It's an 03. I can tell where the marks are from where they were OEM, but I figured an exact measurement would be better. I guess it can always be adjusted even at the track for quicker turn in if I'm not happy with it.
I should've marked them before removal. Thought about it after the fact. Live and learn |

| Re: Fork height depends on the tire, IMHO...
For a tall front tire, I went 3mm lower in the front... (ie, pull the forks up into the triples 3mm). Depending on the tire though, the height of tires varies from vendor to vendor. The Diablo Corsa for example is quite a bit taller than its competitors.
I'd try them at stock height, (the ring at the top of the fork tube), and maybe go down 1-2mm at a time. |

| Re: Fork height I'm about 2mm from the top of the tube right now... I'll see how it is on turn in. Nelson is a fast track and it won't matter too much. |

| Re: Fork height my 3mm figure is from the line at the top of the forks, not the top of the forks... Sorry if I was not completely clear about that. |
