CBR600RR with 15k miles

Hey guys,
I actually have 15k mile on my 2003 600RR and I was wondering what you guys thought about the valve adjustment/ inspection at the 16k mark? Do you guys think it is a waiste of money and not to worry about it too much and keep riding, or do you think that I should do it. It is not the money so much, but I just dont trust the dealerships, and I think doing it myself is a little out of my hands. Do you guys think that everything will still be in spec, or get it checked out?
Thanks.

Chances are it'll be close, but if you ride your bike really hard it might not be... It's cheap insurance...do the maintenance like the manual says to do.

Re: CBR600RR with 15k miles

First check of my 929 was outta specs... I suggest finding someone you trust if your not going to do it yourself, but I don't listen to all the people that say " Naw that should check good." If your just not willing to do it at all sell the bike before you hit 16k so at least the next poor guy knows he has to do it. Thats just my opinion. If not just ride the hell outta it till it starts making nasty noises and then you can do like alot of other schmucks would do and sell it to someone that don't know any better
