Stock fairing stay + hotbodies

I just recieved my hotbodies racing upper and lower. I have not purchased an after market dailing stay. I was wondering if i can use the stock faing stay?

if i can't which one should i use. the gp tech unit is the cheapest and has replaceable arms.

Thanks

You should absolutely be able to use the stock fairing stay.

Not with HotBodies that's for certain. Do you own a circular saw?

Re: Stock fairing stay + hotbodies

I used the stock fairing stay when installing my hotbodies kit on my F4i. The upper fairing will have a pseudo mirror mount area where you will want to drill 1 or 2 holes to put some type of large washer and bolt to have the upper faring stay in place.

Re: Stock fairing stay + hotbodies

A month or so ago we installed a set of Hotbodies on an 03 RR and used the stock stay. Not too sure why you'd want an aftermarket when you can buy two OEM ones for the same price.
