CBR600 F2 Oil Light?

Just got my first bike (94 CBR 600 F2). Rode it around a bit without any problems, but when I hit the kill switch after parking it I noticed that the oil light came on. It wasn't on while riding, just after I killed the engine (key still on). I'd normally check the owner's manual, but the bike didn't come with one (I ordered one, but it wont be here till Friday). Is this normal behavior? If not, what should I do?

When you first turn the key on before you thumb the starter it should be on as well. Sounds normal to me.
