| Supporting Bike with a Sears Motorcycle Lift Is it possible to lift this bike with a traditional motorcycle lift from Sears? I have to drop the front forks down 10mm and replace the rear dogbone to the stock unit. |

| Re: Supporting Bike with a Sears Motorcycle Lift Well, since he posted in the CBR600 forum, I would assume it was that one.
You may be able to use that lift if you remove all the plastic. I can't remember if the exhaust is in the way though.
You can lift the rear with a standard rear stand and use jack stands under the rearsets. (worked for our 600RR when I lowered it) |

| Re: Supporting Bike with a Sears Motorcycle Lift I am going to remove the plastics tomorow to pull the carbs. I will peak underneath the bike to check to see if the header is in the way... Hopefully not. |

| Re: Supporting Bike with a Sears Motorcycle Lift The girl I bought the bike from has the front shocks lowered and a dog bone put inm the back to accomadate her short height. They are supposed to sit even at the top right? Also I bought F# suspension on Ebay. Where would I mount the shock canister? |

I'm not certain on the earlier 600s, but raising the front end back to the stock setting (which will be close to flush) and getting the rear back to stock height will make the bike handle better and have a lot more ground clearance.
Re the nitrogen reservoir, I would get some rubber material and place it between the reservoir and the subframe tube and clamp it on with hose clamps. Just make certain you don't restrict any tire clearance and that the hose won't get kinked. |

| Re: Supporting Bike with a Sears Motorcycle Lift You could get the rear passenger pegs from an F3. They have the mount for that remote reservoir. If you don't want to do that, then the method abtech outlined is the way to go.
And I had the fork tubes showing 4mm above the triples on my F3. Don't remember the F2 settings, but I'm pretty sure it was the same. |
