| 190 rear on 600RR? Anyone running a 190 rear? I have a chance to pick up some Pirelli SuperCorsa Pros with low laps for cheap. Only problem is the rears are 190's. Would this significantly affect the handling on the track? |

| Re: 190 rear on 600RR? Everyone that I've heard running a 190 on a 600 has been running the Dunlops. 190/60 or something of the sort. Most if not all the fast guys out here seem to be running them (Dunlop's the most prevalent rubber used at the club races out here). |

| Re: 190 rear on 600RR? That's interesting. Of course I didn't race last year or this year, but in 2004 Dunlop was the minority here. Mostly Pirelli and Michelin.

| Re: 190 rear on 600RR? The Michelin bandwagon had to add a couple extra cars around here.
Them: Ooooh, look - they're dual compound!! Harder in the middle!!!
Me: Uh, yeah.....so WTF would you need (or even want) that in a race tire?
Them: :blank stares: Because they are Powers, man......teh coolest!! Everyone is using them!!
But yeah, not many Dunlop runners around these parts. Mostly Michelin, then Pirelli with Dunlop and Bridgestone on a few of the guys. |

Part of it may be that our Michelin vendor is a great guy and very helpful. I wasn't around for the dual-compound stuff.
