You can shoehorn a 900RR engine in as well - with the proper harness and ecm, but it isn't a direct bolt-in. There is some work to be done.
I don't know what exactly as it has been over a decade since I helped a buddy put a 900RR engine into his F3.
I doubt the F4 is difficult to put in, but any time you are switching to a different model engine you'll need the full thing, including wiring harness and ecm. |
