F4i won't start

Hi guys. A friend of mine has an '00 F4i (maybe an F4). That won't start. I haven't looked at it yet. She says the battery is charged, but when she turns the key, nothing, absolutely nothing happens. (doubt it's the kill switch , she knows better!). Any idea what to start looking for. Sounds like the fuel primer doesn't even go. She said it's like the ignition is disconnected from the bike, and that nothing at all happens.
TIA

I had the same problem on my 900, and I ended up having to take it into the stealer. Turns out it was a fried wire going from my fuses to the starter solenoid. Never would have figured it out myself, and the part cost me $.95. Labor is what got me on that one.

That sounds like a dead battery.

Re: F4i won't start

i just had mine at the 'dealer' and it was a starter problem...could be same thing quite expensive to fix professionally but you can do it half the price yourself....250ish + labor...
