| Engine does not start Hi guys, I have a CBR 600 RR 2003, today my bike just didn't want to start, a curious thing that I notice is that the fuel indicator is blinking, but yes, it does have gas, the tank is almost full, the "mal function indicator" is not on, battery is ok. The last thing I did was to take the fairing off but I don't think that has something to do with ignition, has it? Any ideas? Thanks in advance uacko | |

| Re: Engine does not start You took off the front fairing, didn't you? I'll bet you unplugged your bank angle sensor and didn't plut ig back in. |

| Re: Engine does not start Check all of your (wiring)plugs sounds like a connecter has came loose I dont know if the 600RR cycles when you turn the key on or not but it sounds like the fuel pump is not working..Hope this helps... |

| Re: Engine does not start Thanks for your quick replies, as soon as I arrived home I disassemble my fairing. BDA116 was almost right, the bank angle sensor wasn't unplugged but it was upside down so that was the reason it'll never start, additionally the dashboard was not completely plugged, that's why my fuel indicator was blinking like if it doesn't have gas, I think I won't ever again work on my bike at nights. Kawboy69, I defenitely have to take myself a picture like yours on the toilet. Thanks again guys |

| Re: Engine does not start Hey guys i have an 05 cbr600rr, and it won't start either. Its got a yosh pipe and a mapped pc. i haven't had any problems with it, but it has been really cold out. I live in Gainesville so that means 35-40 degrees. This morning i started it up fine and rode it about 300 feet, and it died but it turned on without problems. I parked it and came back about four hours later and it would not start. I haven't done anything to it at all lately. I kept hitting the starter so much my battery went dead. Could i have flooded it? I'm not sure, but i have it hooked up to a trickle charger now - any suggestions? Oh and by the way i've been riding it pretty much every day. The only difference was i didn't warm it up before i rode it today...uh oh? i know i know! but i only had to go 400 feet. |
