| Re: 2007 CBR 600RR Guys I work for honda and I can tell you NO pics of this bike have been released to the public yet.I can tell you that the over all the bike will be totaly new and WILL produce more than 115 bhp All the while weighing in 7 pounds less than the 2006 model. I have but one pic of a paint that will be limited in 2007. That is all I can say at this point mostly because that is all I know right now. Enjoy the pic and I will post more when I find out, I am also new to the board so any help in getting to know you would be great. |

If Honda really does that paint, I think they made a big mistake. |

The '07 looks nothing like that, and pics HAVE already been released to the public.
They can also already be seen on this board.
There is also no reason whatsoever to have a Movistar replica paint job on a Honda bike at all any longer, let alone here in the U.S.
The Movistar Honda team is no longer, and there are no Americans on the team (that doesn't exist), nor does Movistar have any American market.
Oh, and the claimed dry weight for the '07 is a whole lot more than 7 pounds less than the claimed dry weight of the '05/'06 model. Claimed bhp is more than 115 as well.
Typically those that work in dealerships are the last to know anything about the new stuff - other than the bosses that go to the dealer show, which is going on right now. |

You are more that welcome to call american honda and ask for me. I used to work in the power equipment division on the honda generators, tillers, and all GX and GCV small engines. I posted what I knew that is all, if you know more then post your info and we will all be happy. |

Wow, must be a sad existence. All I posted was fact to dispel yet more incorrect information. Had nothing to do with you personally, just you misinformation.
I already have posted the pics of the new 600RR on this site, and a link to that thread has been posted a couple posts before yours.
But since you work in the power equipment division, I'm sure you know all about the motorcycles. Since you work for AmHon, you must have a membership to the preview going on in an hour for all other HRCA members. |

Took me almost a year and a half until I finally set him off.
He still doesn't believe me that 07 is the year the CBR XX returns to Honda's lineup with the long awaited V5. |

But you can join the clubhouse at the minimum level for like $8 and get a preview login. |

My post refuted your blatant misinformation. You went all school-girl over it and were responded to.
Get over yourself. So you work inside a building in Nashville on power equipment. Good for you, I'm glad you have a great job.
But the AHM headquarters aren't over there. They are a completely different company. Your internet access from the factory won't get you directly into the HRCA clubhouse page any differently than anyone else.
Nothing worse that know-it-alls. That much you're right about. |
