Hi,

Does an undertail exhaust kit exist for the CBR600F4i?

Thanks.

Hotbodies may make one but is most likely not worth the time, money and hastle. I helped a friend install one on his '03 GSXR1K and it was a HUGE pain in the butt.

Which year?

I have an 01 F4i and I hava a Competition Werkes f.e. It is a pain to install. I actually had it installed because I did not want to mess my bike up. It comes in bare metal. I got mine powdercoated black. They may have better ones now. Plus these guys are real cool. I got mine off of ebay and when I called these guys they emailed me instructions and told me about the parts that I was missing and sold them to me for cheap.

Not to be picky but, where does the F.E. involve an undertail exhaust? I'm confused.

It doesn't.

I'm not 100% sure of what you are asking but:
Bikes with undertail exhausts are more easily fitted with an f.e. Most times all that is required is to unbolt the OEM fender (which may include rear blinkers) and mount the aftermarket one in its place. The pipe stays in place.

Thanks for the info. Competition Werkes has some pretty cool stuff.

I don't actually have a bike yet. Unless you include the 1976 Suzuki TS250 "Savage" that I plan on rebuilding...eventually. But that's another post... I like the look and idea of the underseat exhaust system and was wondering if there was a kit to convert a 2006 600F4i to one. I keep bouncing between the Honda 600F4i and the Yamaha FZ6. Haven't yet decided...

Re: Undertail Exhaust Kit for CBR600F4i?

get an f4i, but do some research and get 01-03 try to find it with low miles, the newer f4i's, correct me if i am wrong, the weight, suspension, and gears have been changed. The 01-03 f4i has won so many ama's, it is the preffered race bike for a while now, but i am sure it has changed.

those yam's (yamaha) suck ass.. thats all i have to say, i will ride honda till the day i die!!!
