 | 99 f4 shock compatibility with 01 f4i I have the opertunity to get my hands on an Ohlins rear shock from a 99 f4. would this be compatible with my 2001 f4i. I'm thinking it would. the part numbers are different, that could just be color. oh and the wheels? Thanks | |

| Re: 99 f4 shock compatibility with 01 f4i I'm quite certain the chassis and suspension are the same thing. Therefore, the shock should mount right up. The wheels have a different design to them, but they're most likely a direct swap. |

| Re: 99 f4 shock compatibility with 01 f4i The shock will be a direct swap. The F4 and F4i wheels are different though. The F4i wheels are hollow spoke which saves a lot of weight and makes for quicker turning. |
