F4i shocks

Is there any difference in the shock on F4i's? 2001-current? Or are they all identical?

Re: F4i shocks

if you purchased the bike used it could have been resprung for a different weight rider.

also, not all parts are made equally .. even with identical settings you will not have the exact same feel on any two bikes. Depending on how far off it is, that could be part of it...

one last thing .. if you are riding on the street, chances are you do not want the settings all the way tight.

It's very very soft.. the bike only had 2000 miles on it and was bone stock without a scratch on it.. I doubt it was setup or anything but I dont know....

The kind of riding I do, I like it nice and tight
