D&D

Well I put my D&D on my bike, isn't really as loud as people make it out to be........It will scream if you go up past 6k rpms but I rarely ever do and what pipe doesn't? The video makes it seem louder then what it really is, especially when it is idling.

Idle at 4K rpm beginning then 11K rev then a few 6-8 k revs and then normal idle at 1300 rpm.

I will post a vid up of my V&H when i get it next week if you guys want to hear that. I have heard them before and like the sound better then the D&D so this can will most likely go up on ebay.

Bike - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

orig vid is 13MB....but I think photobucket chopped it down some

Re: D&D

The D&D doesnt bother me too much, but I am also in front of it.....I might get my buddy to drive it down the street and see what it really sounds like. Cant wait for the V&H though, the one on my buddys bike sounds awsome.

Re: D&D

I had a d&d on an fzr 600 I had (came with it) ... that pipe was LOUD. Keep in mind you have a helmet on and the can is pointing backwards.

My personal issue with the D&D is that for all that obnoxious noise ... it doesn't do anything for performance.

Re: D&D

I liked the D&D, I did sell it and kept the V&H, but it wasnt that loud, 90% of the harleys out there are alot louder.

And everyone on her complains about people with the D&D pipes.....they are probably the ones that go 100+ mph on the streets and the wonder why cops trail us so bad

Re: D&D

If you never hit he powerband on your bike, you might as well ride a ninja 250. There are safe ways to have fun, even on the street.
