| Noob Question about helmet/bike Ok this is my first street bike,
I know I know CBR600 first timer=Organ doner
I grew up riding dirt bikes recently sold my 03 CR250 so im not a total noob to 2wheels
A friend moved to WA and instead of selling the bike or letting it rott in the garage he gave it to me.
So heres my question, when you park the bike how do you store your helmet? I checked out the boot and can hook the chin strap around a small plastic part but thats not what it was made for. So whats the deal, is there a hook that im missing do i need to buy an add on or just rig something up.
I realy dont want to carry it around school all day but dont feel secure leaving it the way it currently is.
Thanks for the replys sorry for the length. |

| Re: Noob Question about helmet/bike There is a metal strap in your toolkit that was designed to attach to the helmet and then the hook under the seat. |

| Re: Noob Question about helmet/bike Congrats on the bike. Take it easy out there and get with some respectable peeps to show you around your new joy. By now you have figured out it is the front brake on the street and the rear on the dirt. Turnin' these beasts are a bit different as well. Get to the MSF course and get some gear as well.
Here are two local boards that will help you out. Be very aware of the one that calls himself SPEED. Always and I mean always keep your back to the wall. He keeps asking people if they like the crying game. Sportbikeswest.com SoCalSportbikes
The Socal boards sometimes has "workshops" for n00bs and beginner rides up the to the crest and newcombs.
Welcome to the show. |
