help with f3 forks

Hi all,
I just wanted to find out how I can tell if I have 95-96 f3 forks or later year f3 forks.. when I bought my f2 it came with f3 forks but I was never told what year they were from.. I'm about to change out the fork seals and wanna make sure I go according to spec. Thanks in advance

the f3 svc manual shows two different sets of forks for the 95-96 and 96 or later... they have different fork oil levels... anyone else? thanks again

No!!! Don't make me get out the MANUAL!!!!

Okay, they changed the spring rate & oil level but that's all I see (12-1, 12-17). But we're talking fork seals here and they're all 41mm. I say don't worry about it, pop some new seals in there and toss some oil in. If you're curious what year they are measure the spring.

yea I was hopin I could tell from the outside of the fork tube but spring length should determine if it's earlier or later.. wish they'd put a part# on the outside or something lol
