Hello! First post from the noob! ... but I'll around for a while.

I bought a bike which had jumped a curb and took front end damage. The neck is straight but everything except the triple tree was gone when I bought it so I have to source out replacements. I found a set of F2 forks cheap on ebay which seemed like the right choice because the calipers are still there and good. The speed-o spacer is missing but I found that cheap too on ebay. What I seem to be having trouble finding are front rims and headlight assemblies. I managed to get the headlight , but the plastics, headlight frame , signals and front fender are elusive.

What would you do if you needed to replace the same?


I considered going for F3 forks and front wheel but couldnt find enough info on how to reconnect the speed-o without swapping my cluster and ..?

ebay is your best option, other than that your going to have to go through a honda dealer which is going to cost you your left, maybe even right, testicle. Almost might be worth finding another wrecked F2 and try to salvage what you can from both bikes.

I just re-read my first post -dang I was tired and couldnt spell!!!!

Honda wanted a lot more than my nutz for replacement parts!!! Ebay is rather competive these days for the hard to find parts so I think finding a parts bike is my best option... unfortunately, the same thing breaks on all these bikes when they fall so I'll have to find a seized engine donor!!

I like the Targa aftermarket stuff. Seems to be much higher quality than the Cheetah stuff which is local to me. I've got too much good side plastic to do a conversion, and not enough headlight stuff to stay the same..
