Any F4/i Race/Trackbikes out there?

I'm curious what chassis geometry numbers would be optimal for this bike. Not the greatest ground clearance but I also don't like my bikes to ride too high, just a preference.

RAH-VFR has a F4 track bike. He's an engineer, too, so you can probably get him to measure the hell out of it.

Every few days it seems. You can also send him a PM to take a look at the thread.

SB-XX: I have an 1999 F4. The chassis geometry is stock but the springs are aftermarket presumably with stiffer ( higher #/in) ratings and the rear shock is a Fox Shock. I'm 6'4" so height is not one of my concerns. I'm not sure what ground clearence your referring to, under the bike when it is straight up or side to side when the bike would be turning. I do have set back foot pegs which provide a greater lean angle than the stock pegs would allow.

When I got the bike the set-up item I was advised to do was adjusting the preload to get the propper amount of sag, the distance traveled with my weight. this keeps the bike at it's height for your weight wile riding and gives you the best wheel travel of bumps.

The bike is currently at a friends heated barn for the winter. You could get measurements on line.

So this maybe the first salvo in your search but if it sparks any more thoughts, you know how to find me.
